North Coast Building Industry Association’s (NCBIA) Circle of Excellence Awards
NCBIA’s Circle of Excellence Awards recognize area builders, developers, remodelers, suppliers and associates. An independent panel of judges comprised of new-home marketing professionals selected KS Associates based on the firm’s approach to servicing clients, degree of service delivery and involvement in the industry.

Lorain County Chamber of Commerce Safety Council
This award recognizes companies that work the entire year without a lost-time injury — a work-related injury/illness where the affected person is unable to complete the next shift. Keeping safety top-of-mind is especially important for our surveyors, who often work in hazardous environments.

2005 POB Magazine – Highlights In Surveying Award
Point of Beginning (POB) Magazine
KS Associates’ Survey Group won this first annual award for surveying services performed for the City of Cleveland on nine lakefront state parks. The award recognizes Professional Surveyors’ roles in providing practical solutions to surveying and mapping problems through training, skill and the application of new and evolving surveying technologies.

2008 PLSO Member of the Year - 2005 PLSO Surveyor of the Year, Cleveland Chapter
Mark A. Yeager, P.S., Director of Surveying Services
In 2008, Mark was named Member of the Year by the Professional Land Surveyors of Ohio (PLSO). In 2005, the Cleveland Chapter named him Surveyor of the Year. Both awards recognize contributions Mark has made to the organization’s mission of promoting surveying as a profession and acknowledges his career achievements.

Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) Weatherhead School of Management
This prestigious award recognizes Northeast Ohio’s fastest-growing companies and is a highly regarded designation throughout the business community. Winners were objectively chosen based on five-year sales growth. KS Associates ranked #54 and reported a five-year sales growth of more than 104 percent.

2006-2007 SMPS Marketing Communication Awards
Society for Marketing Professional Services
For two years straight, KS Associates' marketing materials have been recognized in this annual competition. In 2007, our Survey Group Direct Mail Campaign won second place in the Direct Mail Category. In 2006 our corporate brochure won first place in the Brochure Category.

2003 Municipal Streets and Intersection Paving Award
Ohio Concrete Construction Association (OCCA)
The OCCA recognized KS Associates for design improvements to Riverfront Place in Lorain, Ohio. KS Associates was responsible for all design services and preparation of construction plans, right-of-way plans and a dedication plat for the new 28-foot-wide access roadway and adjacent parking areas for the Black River Park.

2001 Lorain County Beautiful Award
Lorain County Visitors Bureau
The Lorain County Visitors Bureau recognized KS Associates for its new 22,000-square-foot office building. The facility was designed to foster teamwork among employees and provide a progressive, energetic work environment. The property’s site plan was designed by KS Associates and is a direct reflection of the outstanding quality of work that employees strive to achieve in each project.
