The Board of MR/DD provides services and support to more than 8,000 individuals in Cuyahoga County. The organization called on KS Associates to provide a schematic design plan for its headquarters building on Lakeside Avenue in Cleveland.

The building was located on 2.5 acres of an inner city site in the City of Cleveland. The schematic site plan initially included introducing a bioswale as part of the Post Construction Water Quality component to the LEED design. After review, the bio-swale design was eliminated.

Although the project was placed on hold, KS Associates played a key role in evaluating opportunities for LEED credits.
