The Barbara & Mike Bass Library / Community Resource Center at Lorain County Community College (LCCC) is the campus' signature facility and has become a technology portal for both the college and Lorain County. The 83,300-square-foot library includes experimental classrooms, distance learning spaces and expanded student services. The first floor features the North Branch of the Elyria Public Library System and is open to the public.

KS Associates provided civil engineering, LEED consulting and surveying services for the project. In addition to helping to maximize opportunities to achieve LEED rating system credits, our team designed a new parking lot, modified existing parking facilities and reworked site utilities.

The project is on target to obtain a Silver LEED-NC rating by the U.S. Green Building Council.
