Willow Creek Residential Development — Avon, Ohio

The developer’s vision of Willow Creek was to create a 163-unit residential community coexisting on 120 acres of a natural forest preserve, minutes from golfing, shopping, schools and major roadways. KS Associates’ Land Development team worked diligently during each of the five phases of this project, taking the project from design through construction plan preparation.
The site presented several challenges including wetlands impact restrictions, zoning requirements and conflicts with existing utilities. KS Associates’ site design minimized wetland impacts and met on-site mitigation requirements to allow additional lots needed to make the project feasible. The design also overcame stringent City of Avon cluster zoning requirements and the stormwater management solution eliminated the need to relocate gas lines.
Obtaining approvals from The City of Avon was an integral part of turning the project around as quickly as possible. KS Associates understands the importance of coordinating with local governing boards to provide a thorough presentation of the proposed project. Our knowledge and understanding of the approval process allows us to obtain approvals as quickly as possible. |
This site presented wetland challenges, which were overcome by a creative layout with selective wetland mitigations and impacts. The design solution created a scenic and natural living environment.
