Euclid Corridor Transportation Project — Cleveland, Ohio

The Euclid Corridor Transportation Project was a $200 Million urban infrastructure improvement aimed at providing enhanced access to the City of Cleveland’s two largest employment centers — downtown Cleveland and University Circle. The project’s goal is to give the City the ability to move more than 20,000 people a day along Euclid Avenue and revitalize the area, turning it into a dynamic community resource for residents and visitors.
KS Associates was selected to provide surveying services for the project.
The Euclid Corridor Transportation Project is the largest surveying project in our firm's history.
Surveys for the new HealthLine were performed of Euclid Avenue from and including Public Square to Superior Avenue in East Cleveland and the Transit Zone which included Superior Avenue and St. Clair Avenue from E. 18th Street to W. 3rd Street in downtown Cleveland. The project design spanned multiple years requiring several updates to the survey to accommodate design changes. Extensive research was performed to obtain utility, roadway and property information.
Right-of-way plans were prepared for Euclid Avenue and included 220 parcels of land and more than 400 legal descriptions used in acquiring additional right-of-way and easements. Surveyors obtained and documented property owner information to expedite contact with owners whose properties would be affected by future construction.
This project demonstrates KS's ability to provide continunity of services and tackle large, ongoing projects.
