Euclid Corridor Transportation Project — Cleveland, Ohio

The Euclid Corridor Transportation Project is a $200 Million urban infrastructure improvement aimed at providing enhanced access to the City of Cleveland's two largest employment centers — downtown Cleveland and University Circle. The project's goal is to revitalize Euclid Avenue, turning it into a dynamic community resource for residents and visitors.
KS Associates provided base mapping and land surveying services for the project. KS logged more than 25,000 man-hours from 1996 through the final design in 2006.
Survey crews performed topographic surveys to identify and locate all features over a 200-foot wide strip along Euclid Avenue, from Public Square to the Cleveland Corporation Line and the project's "Transit Zone" (St. Clair Avenue and Superior Avenue between W. 3rd Street and E. 18th Street). Because the design of the project spanned several years, surveys were updated numerous times due to other construction and changes along the route.
KS Associates also prepared right-of-way plans identifying 281 parcels of land affected by the project. Approximately 380 legal descriptions for easements were prepared as part of the right of way plans needed to construct the project. |
This is the largest survey and mapping project in KS Associates' history, requiring more than 25,000 man-hours to map and survey 11 miles of city streets.
