October 25, 2006 – For the sixth consecutive year, KS Associates has been named to The Golden 30: Growing Companies Demonstrating World-Class Performance. This annual competition, sponsored by The Morning Journal and Lorain County Community College (LCCC), recognizes the top 30 companies (15 established, 15 emerging) in Lorain, Erie and Huron counties.

KS Associates ranked 12th place in the established category, reporting a five-year average sales increase of 13.2 percent and an average employee increase of 8.7%.

According to Lynn S. Miggins, P.E., president of KS Associates, "we attribute our success to our employees and their focus on upholding our values of treating our clients like gold; respecting each other as individuals; working in only the most ethical, professional manner; and giving back to the community."

This year, more than 1,500 nominations were sent to businesses and companies throughout the three-county area. Golden 30 winners are determined based on average sales and employment growth, business excellence, and their contributions to the success of the region’s economic climate.
