January 22, 2008 - KS Associates has formed a new committee designed to support local charitable organizations and encourage employees to become involved in philanthropic activities. Entitled the KS Community Link, the committee reflects KS Associates' guiding value of "Giving Back."

The committee is chaired by Amanda L. Clancy, KS Human Resource Manager, and is comprised of employees at all levels of the organization. The committee's goal is to organize at least one event per quarter that will benefit those in need through the donation of time, money, goods or services. Events may include food and clothing drives, student mentoring programs, fundraisers and a variety of other initiatives.

According to Clancy, "KS Associates has always placed a high priority on community involvement, demonstrated through its annual scholarship program, fundraisers and food drives, donation matching programs and more. The formation of the committee augments those efforts by providing employees with a forum for sharing ideas, and results in a team approach at participating in charitable events."
