February 21, 2008 – Council members of the Village of Sheffield unanimously confirmed the appointment of KS Associates as the new consulting engineering firm. Mark B. Skellenger, P.E., vice president of KS Associates, was named village engineer and will be the primary contact for public works projects.

"We are very excited to have the opportunity to assist this growing community," Skellenger said. Skellenger will represent KS Associates at council meetings and will provide consultation on a variety of planning and capital improvement projects as they arise. He will also help address questions and concerns relating to these projects.

"KS Associates has a long history of providing professional services to the Village. We understand the unique challenges this community faces. One of our first assignments will be to help the Village with drainage and flooding problems," Skellenger said.
