March 14, 2011 – Lynn S. Miggins, P.E., president of KS Associates, was among the presenters at this year's Ohio Transportation Engineering Conference (OTEC). This two-day event, held in Columbus on October 25-26, 2011, addressed the latest trends, technology and policies affecting the Ohio transportation industry.

Miggins joined a panel of peers and presented during a technical session entitled, “Women Leading Ohio Businesses.” The session is sponsored by the Columbus Chapter of WTS (Women’s Transportation Seminar), an organization dedicated to the professional advancement of women in transportation.

Miggins joined four other women business leaders throughout Ohio who discussed topics including stakeholder engagement, transit planning, transportation design and community service. Members of the panel included: Marie Keister, President of Engage Communications/Public Affairs (Dublin); Carla Lakatos, Principal Partner, The Lakatos Group (Dayton); Kristin Eggeman, President, Eggeman Engineering & Consulting (Springfield); and Joyce Johnson, President, CAD Concepts, Inc. (Columbus).

The session was held during the first day of the event, Tuesday, October 25, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
