April 24, 2012 – The Lorain County Chamber of Commerce Safety Council has once again recognized KS Associates for its outstanding safety record. For the seventh consecutive year, KS received the 100% Award for reporting no lost-time injuries — work-related injuries or illnesses preventing an employee from completing the next shift. KS also received the Special Award for working 640,499 injury-free hours for eight years, from 2003 to 2011.

We maintain a rigorous program that promotes a culture of safety throughout the company. We recognize that employees are our number one asset. Taking a proactive position on their safety and well-being results in satisfied employees, and ultimately satisfied clients.”

KS Associates maintains a comprehensive Safety Program designed to keep all employees — both field and office personnel — out of harm's way. The firm disseminates information on health and wellness, and publishes a Health and Safety Field Manual that addresses the unique and sometimes potentially hazardous environments in which field personnel work. The firm also holds monthly Safety Meetings in which employees are encouraged to share ideas and real-world experiences regarding safety, offering creative ways on how to take precautions and mitigate hazards in a variety of working environments.
