April 2 , 2007 – KS Associates, a civil engineering and land surveying firm located in Elyria, Ohio, announces that David W. Vorndran, P.E., has been appointed to Senior Project Manager of KS Associates’ Commercial Land Development Group. In this position, Vorndran is responsible for managing large-scale commercial development projects including big-box retail developments. His responsibilities include coordinating all phases of projects, from preliminary planning and design through cost estimating and final project construction.

Prior to joining KS Associates, Vorndran served as a consultant for a full-service real estate development and management company. His astute understanding of developers’ concerns and his ability to solve complex design challenges make him a unique addition to the KS team. David has played key roles on high-profile commercial projects, including Legacy Village in Lyndhurst and Steelyard Commons on the edge of Cleveland’s industrial valley.

Vorndran has a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Cleveland State University. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ohio.
