KS Associates was part of the team that designed and prepared construction plans for the resurfacing and pavement repair of 5.2 miles of interstate highway. The project extended along Interstate 90 from west of Clague Road to the Joslyn Road Bridge in Cuyahoga County. The work involved the resurfacing, concrete pavement repair, removal and replacement of the median guardrail with concrete barrier, lighting, traffic control upgrades, storm sewer and drainage upgrades.

KS Associates was responsible for all field surveying, digital mapping, field inspection of existing catch basins and storm sewer system, and preparation of construction plans for the replacement details where the existing system would be upgraded. KS Associates also prepared designs for the median drainage system to accommodate the new median barrier inlet, performed a hydraulic analysis of the storm sewer system and designed details for the proposed pavement underdrains.
