KS Associates was responsible for all design services and preparation of construction plans, right-of-way plans and a dedication plat for the new 28-foot-wide access roadway and adjacent parking areas for the Black River Park. This project required the complete design of a new 2,600-foot access roadway on a new alignment with integral curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, new storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer adjustments.

The project included the design and plans for 70 adjacent parking spaces, street lighting and tree landscaping. The project was complicated by the existing railroad tracks running parallel to the proposed alignment and coordination with numerous agencies, including the Lorain Port Authority, the City of Lorain Department of Development and the City of Lorain Engineer.
